Gold Nib","description":"\u003cp\u003eOne of the larger Burnham pens, the No. 56 was made, in England, around 1950. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pen has been restored and tested and is in excellent working condition throughout.  The unusual and very attractive blgrey marbled finish with black veins has an excellent surface with a very crisp and clear barrel imprint.  The colour shows no fading and, unusually for a Burnham, the Gold plating to the clip and twin cap bands has held up very well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cap is a screw fit, it tightens smoothly with one  and three quarter turns.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA new ink sac has been fitted and the lever filling system works well.  The nib is 14 Ct Gold and carries the imprint:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBurnham\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e14 Ct.
