It is 'as new' in all respects and has not been used.  The original box, which is consistent with the 1953 date, is also pristine.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan size=\"4\" color=\"#2e6b31\"\u003eThe factory applied 'chalk marks' are complterly intact.  These are actually stencilled in wax and are intended as an aid to the retailer, to be wiped off as the pen is sold.
