The filler is efficient and easy to use, filling the pen with one swift downstroke of the plunger. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 'short Triumph style' conical nib, stamped 'Sheaffer Made in Australia', is made from unhallmarked  Palladium Silver. This consists of 92.5% pure Silver with about 5% Palladium added to give resistance to tarnishing and a trace of Germanium to add stability and hardness.  It is an unusually attractive nib that writes very well, producing a smooth, medium line.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 'Navy Blue' surface has a good surface. The clip is polished chrome and is stamped 'Sheaffer'S', the last 'S' in the name was dropped from pen imprints in 1963.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe metal cap has no dings or other blemishes with a semi matt  finish. The inner cap is designed so that, when it is posted on the end of the pen, the cap rim does not touch the barrel, thus preventing scratching of the surface.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Sheaffer box is a simple cardboard affair but it is original and in very good condition so should be kept with the pen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Sheaffer Imperial ll is one of the more scarce Imperials and is now quite collectable.
