Conway Stewart 15 Long Version. c.1953.

Regular price £95.00

The Conway Stewart 15 was made in long or short versions, gold plated or nickel plated trim, and with or without a cap band.  This pen, dating to around 1953, is long, gold plated, and has a cap band, it is the top of the line.

Attractively finished in marbled blue with black veins, the pen is in superb condition throughout.  The colour is bright and has first class finish with a clear barrel imprint.  The gold filling to the clip and lever is similarly pristine.

The filling system works well, a new ink sac has been fitted, and the 14Ct. gold nib writes with a very smooth medium line.  it has a pleasing 'soft' feel and a suggestion of flex.

With the cap posted for use the pen has a length of 15.7 cm., one of the larger Conway Stewart pens of this era.  The long Conway Stewart 15 is not easy to find and is very collectable.
