This version of the Parker Lady Insignia was introduced, as the top of the range pen, in late 1968. Production of the Lady ended in early 1970, so the pen had a very short production run.
Constructed in one tenth, by weight, 12Ct. rolled gold, this pen is a really fine example. It is in superb condition throughout with no signs of use.
The Lady is an 'aerometric' filler, it has a 'squeeze-bar' filling system for use with bottled ink, which is efficient and easy to use. The 'pli-glass' ink sac is totally unstained, the surface is exceelnt, and the imprints clear.
The hard Parker presentation case is similarly pristine.
The Lady Insignia was considerably more expensive than the plastic versions of the pen so sold in far fewer numbers. The short producion run of this model also limited numbers so a pen in this 'as new' condition is very hard to find. It is a jewel of a pen!
