Parker Lady Classic ballpoint in white rolled Gold

Regular price £65.00

The Parker Lady Classic ballpoint, not to be confused with the U.K. Parker Lady, was made from 1975 to 1981.  The White Gold Flamee design, this pen, was introduced in 1980, it had a very short production run and is consequently quite a rare pen.

The rolled White Gold gives a gleaming surface which is enhanced by the pattern, the pen shimmers as it is moved.  The clip, cap button, and barrel ring are 12Ct. yellow Gold.  It is a remarkably attractive pen, the top of the Lady range.

The pen is genuine new old stock, it was recovered from some unsold pens in a shop that closed in the late 1980s.  It is in mint condition, the original box sleeve is marked 'Lady ballpen white RG'.  The hard plasic box, guarantee, and soft pen pouch are similarly pristine.

After 50 odd years of storage the ballpoint refill has dried out so a new one has been fitted to the pen.

The Parker Lady Classic is, by no means, a common pen and a white Gold version in mint condition is seldom seen for sale.  Although it is clearly of collectable quality, perhaps it is time that this gem of a ballpoint was used and shown off!
