The Parker Inflection was only made for three years between 2001 and 2004, a short production run is always a good sign for collectability. This is a brand new old stock pen, uninked, unused, and only handled for photography.
The pen is of metal constructihard wearing, high gloss surface. The inflection is a cartridge/converter, a converter is supplied fitted to the pen along with a new ink cartridge so the pen is ready to use in either configuration.
The Inflection was a quite innovative design which sported new features such as the multi-part 'Arrow' clip, a long section with a 'stop' at the nib end, and a 23 Ct. Gold plated exposed nib.
Because of the short production run and the fact that the pen did not sell as well as expected, it retailed at $90, the Parker Inflection is not a common pen and one in brand new condition, is quite a rarity.
