The Sheaffer Imperial was made in a huge range of variations, all following the same distinctive style. This Imperial 440 is a 'White Dot' cartridge filler dating from the 1970s.
The pen is in mint condition throughout and shows no signs of use. It is finished in Blue with a brushed stainless steel cap and chrome clip carrying the Sheaffer 'White Dot' mark of quality.
The pen is fitted with a distinctive inlaid 'short diamond' nib which writes with a super smooth medium line, it is a really great writer. It would make a reliable and attractive vintage daily user.
