The Sheaffer Special Edition Holly pen was made only for a very short time, in 1996, the cap is clearly stamped with the year.
This is a new old stock pen, it shows no signs of use and has the original, unstained and unused Sheaffer ink converter fitted. As with most new old stock pens, this one came to me unboxed so I've provided a new presentation case.
The pen has 23Ct. Gold electroplated trim and nib and is finished in bright red. The holly motif on the cap is in high relief and is hand painted.
This is a rare and outrageously attractive pen, it would fit well in a Sheaffer collection to be taken out at this time of year and filled with red ink!
