A scroll pattern, hallmarked 9Ct. Gold eyedropper fountain pen, assayed in Birmingham in 1904.
The pen is in immaculate condition and has no personalisation or other blemishes. It came to me with, what looks to be, a museum or collection display card giving the maker as A. Baker & Co. of London.
At 13.4 cm. capped and 16cm. posted, it is a full sized eyedropper with the almost ubiquitous slim lines of the time. A very tactile item, it is a true antique with a good deal of historical significance.
