The Parker 100 was introduced in 2004, this pen carries a date code for the last quarter of 2003 so it was ready for the launch. It is likely that some pens were made available for Christmas 2003, I can't see Parker missing the opportunity. This is a fine pen, in mint, unused condition, new old stock, and presented in the original box.
The Cobalt Black GT, there was also a CT version, has a titanium coated graphite grey cap, 23CT. Gold filled trim, and an 18Ct. Gold nib. The clip has an inserted nickel palladium 'jewel' and there is also a domed 'jewel' at each end of the pen which is recessed to create a unique, eye-catching effect. The barrel and hood have a deep multi layered, black lacquered finish. It has a tremendous shine.
The Parker 100 is an exceptional pen, in every respect, it is well engineered and has a host of fine details that combine with the build quality, finish and striking design to produce a pen of the highest calibre which is now extremely collectable.
In terms of appearance it is simply stunning, a pen that clearly makes a statement!
