Parker 75 Laque Black. 1989.

Regular price £135.00

The Parker 75 'Laque Collection' was introduced in Meru, France, in 1979.  The 'Laque Black, this pen, was added in 1983. This example carries a clear 'llN' date code, for the second quarter of 1989.

The pen is in superb condition throughout, the deep shine contrasting perfectly with the gold filled trim to give an attractive but understated classic effect.

The feed is marked 'M' for 'medium' and the 14 Ct. gold nib produces a wonderfully smooth and consistent medium line, perhaps a little on the fine side.

A cartridge/ converter filler, the pen is fitted with a Parker slide ink converter and a new Parker ink cartridge is supplied so it is ready to write in either configuration.

The box is brand new, it is of high quality and will serve very well for transportation, protection, and display.

The 75 is widely recognised as a top quality fountain pen.  It has a very solid metal construction and the 'Laque' pens are finished with several coats of a deep lacquer giving it a shine that is impossible to replicate using less sophisticated methods.
