Parker Harlequin Ballpoint. 1980.

Regular price £45.00

The Parker Harlequin, a scarce variant of the Parker 45 Flighter, was introduced in 1980 and was only produced for a couple of years as the cost of production was too high.  This Harlequin Shield  pen carries a date code for the second quarter of 1980.

The point is expelled and retracted by clicking the cap.  The mechanism is smooth and in perfect working order.  A new refill has been fitted.  The patented Parker mechanism rotates the refill with every click to prevent flat spots on the ball.  First seen in the Jotter in 1954, this innovation transformed the efficiency of the ballpoint and is still in use today.
