Parker Victory Mk. IV in Black. Superb Condition.

Regular price £95.00

The Parker Victory Mk. IV was made from 1948 to 1952.  It is an 'A.F' button filler type, the letters denoting an Aluminium Filler.

The pen has been fully restored to perfect working order.  This involved full disassembly, a thorough cleaning and checking of all components and replacing the ink sac and pressure bar. After reassembly the pen was given a light polish and fully tested.  It has an excellent surface and very strong barrel imprint.  The cap is a smooth screw fit, tightening with two full turns.

The filling system works well with a single press of the filler button.  The 14 Ct. Gold nib is stamped with an 'N', it was made in Parker's Newhaven works.  It writes extremely well, laying down a wonderfully smooth, consistent, medium line, perhaps a little on the broad side. The ink flow is very good, the pen will write under its own weight.

The original box is in good condition, it shows light scuffs on the corners but is clean and sound.

The Parker Victory Mk. lV is, arguably, the best of the models bearing the name, certainly in terms of build quality.  The classic streamlined shape, tapered clip, and deep Gold filling blend together to give a pleasing, uncluttered appearence.  At 15.3cm. when posted it is a long and elegant pen with a very solid, high quality feel.
