The Sheaffer Targa 1011 Diamond Square, introduced in 1979, stands out as one of the 'high end' Targas among a bewildering range of finishes.
Constructed in brass with a heavy 23Ct. Gold electroplating, the pattern consists of small, deep cut squares, not to be confused with the 'barleycorn' effect found on the Targa 1009.
In 'as new' condition, the pen is a full sized Targa, as opposed to the slim version. It came to me as unused and a thorough examination strongly suggest that this is the case.
It is fitted with the original ink converter and it also takes standard Sheaffer ink cartridges, one is included so the pen is ready to write in either configuration.
