The Sheaffer Targa 1011 Diamond Square, introduced in 1979, stands out as one of the 'high end' Targas among a bewildering range of finishes.
Constructed in brass with a heavy 23Ct. Gold electroplating, the pattern consists of small, deep cut squares, not to be confused with the 'barleycorn' effect found on the Targa 1009.
In 'as new' condition, this is a ballpoint pen, I have fitted a new refill as the original had dried with age. It came to me as unused and a thorough examination strongly suggest that this is the case.
The pen is outrageously attractive but has a robust construction so would make an eye-catching every day writer.
