This pen is now reserved
Made in the 1920s, this Conklin Endura ring top pen is constructed in marbled celluloid and has the distinctive Conklin Toledo nib featuring the crescent shaped breather hole.
The pen has been conservatively restored and tested and is in excellent working condition. It has a good surface, some of the panels have mellowed to a light caramel colour, and a legible imprint. The gold filling to the cap bands, cap stud, and lever is in good condition.
The 14Ct. Gold Toledo nib is a gem, it writes with flex, giving good line variation. Anyone with a decent 'hand' would be able to produce excellent results, it is the type of nib that encourages writing with a flourish.
At getting on for a hundred years old the Conklin Endura is quite a rare and highly collectable pen.
