Conway Stewart No. 475, 'The Conway' pen. 1930s.

Regular price

Conway Stewart made three versions of the 475.  The 'Conway', this pen, was produced from 1937 to 1940.  The pen is finished in classic Black with Gold filled trim.  The surface has a deep lustrous shine and the barrel imprint is clear, although there are signs of thinning of the gold plate.

The pen has been restored and is now in good working order.  The 14 Ct. Gold nib is a left oblique which writes with a medium line.

At a shade over 6 1/2 inches in length when posted for use it is a large and distinguished quintessential 1930s English lever filler.
