The Parker 100 Diamond Blue appeared at the end of 2003 and lasted about two years, this is a very early set, dated for the last quarter in 2003.
Comprising a fountain pen and ballpoint with original packing, the set is in near mint condition throughout.
The Parker 100 came in four colours, this is the 'Diamond Blue GT' version, arguably the most attractive of the Parker 100 colours. The the colour is well described, it has metallic, pearlised light blue deep lacquered finish.
The trim is 23Ct. Gold plated and the caps are finished in a very attractive 'shimmered Gold' which complements the pearlised finish on the pens perfectly. The nib is 18Ct.Gold, with a 'M' point, it is a great writer, laying down a smooth, medium line.
The pen is a cartridge/converter filler and is supplied with the original ink converter and a new Parker cartridge so it is ready to write.
The Ballpoint pen has a smooth 'cap twist' activated mechanism and is supplied with a new fine, black refill.
The Parker 100 is large and very substantial pen with a great deal of presence. Sets in this condition are extremely difficult to come by and are very collectable.
