The Parker '17' Lady was introduced into the Parker Duofold line in 1964 and replaced with the Parker Lady Standard in 1968.
This is a fine example of a Parker '17' Lady fountain pen. It is finished in Classic Black with Gold filled 'Arrow' clips and cap bands.
The pen is in remarkable condition throughout, in perfect working order and show very little signs of use. The fountain pen has a very clear and crisp imprint and an excellent deep shine.
The 14 Ct. solid Gold nib is a very 'easy' and comfortable writer, it produces a smooth, firm, medium line with a pleasant soft feel.
The Parker '17' Lady is an excellent every day vintage writer with a first class pedigree. It is impossible now to find a modern, gold nibbed pen with this kind of preformance at anywhere near this price.
