The Parker 45, named after the Colt 45, was introduced in 1960. The 'Arrow' version, this pen, was added to the range in 1962. It is a testament to the sound, timeless design and functionality of the pen that it remained, fundamentally unchanged, until 2008.
This pen is in excellent condition throughout. It has been thoroughly cleaned and tested. The 14Ct. Gold nib writes with a very smooth, medium, consistent line. It is a very 'easy' writer.
The 45 is a cartridge filler, a new cartridge will be supplied with the pen.
The Parker 45 is very underated in many respects but at almost sixty years of age this pen would serve for many more years as a practical and trouble free vintage every day user.
