The Parker Ellipse is a very substantial pen that just oozes quality. It was only made for a short time and was very expensive so there aren't many around.
This is a superb example, it is finished in classic Black lacquered metal with a 23Ct. gold filled clip and cap band. It has a tiny 'fleabite' towards the end of the barrel but is in excellent overall condition throughout. It carries a date code for the first quarter of 2000, a pen for the new millennium.
The 18 Ct. Gold nib is elaborately engraved and writes with a super smooth, medium line. The under side of the feed is protected from drying out with a plastic 'dome'.
The Parker Ellipse is a cartridge/converter filler. It is supplied with the original Parker screw type ink converter and a new ink cartridge.
The original Parker presentation case is a high quality, substantial, and quite heavy affair. It is in pristine condition.
Although the pen is only around twenty years old it has all the characteristics of a collectable item, condition, rarity, and quality in abundance. It is a pen that 'makes a statement'.
