The Parker Senior Duofold was introduced in 1954 and discontinued in 1958, a relatively short production run.  This pen carries a date code for the first quarter of 1956.

The pen finished, in Blue with Gold filled trim, is in flawless condition showing no signs of use.  It is presented in the original box along with the instruction manual.  The box is the correct one for the year, it was replaced with a 'halo' box in 1957.

The barrel imprint is very clear, it identifies the pen as a 'Senior Duofold' along with the date code '6..', 1956, quarter 1.  The original 'pli-glass' ink sac is unstained and the large, correct number 35 14 Ct. Gold nib is straight and correctly aligned.

At well over six inches in length when posted the Senior is a very large and impressive pen with a great deal of presence.  It is unusual to find one in such excellent and complete condition.
