Parker Vacumatic Major Pencil

Regular price

The Parker Vacumatic was made, in the U.S.A and Canada, from1934 to 1948.  This Canadian Vacumatic pencil, in Emerarld Pearl dates from the 1940s.

This is a long, slender pencil of Major size, 130mm.  It is in first class condition throughout, with a brilliant shine and excellent gold trim..  It is a 'split arrow' clip, similar to the 'blue diamond' clip but made after legislation forced Parker to stop using the blue diamond on it's products.

The pencil has a smooth rotary mechanism, rotate the cap to expel and retract the lead. A new lead has been fitted and spares will be included.

The eraser appears to have been sheared off at some time, they do get very brittle with age.

I have provided a new, high quality case which will serve well for transportation, protection, and display.

Full sized Parker Vacumatic pencils are quite difficult to find, one in such fine condition is something of a rarity, and a very collectable item.
