Parker Victory Mk.IV With Flexible Stub Nib.

Regular price

The Parker Victory Mk. IV was made from 1948 to 1952.  It is an 'A.F' button filler type, the letters denoting an Aluminium Filler.  This pen is a very uncommon variant in that it has a flexible stub nib.

This example, finished black, is in excellent condition throughout,  It has a deep shine to the surface and a clear barrel imprint.  The Gold filling to the clip and cap bands has held up very well,

The pen has been fully restored to full working order. The filling system works well and takes up a good volume of ink.  The 14 Ct. Gold nib writes with a medium to broad line which flexes to extra broad with a little pressure on the downward stroke. the stub profile also gives a narrow horizontal and broad vertical line. It is one of those pens that encourages you to write with a flourish.

The Parker Victory Mk. IV is, arguably, the best of the models bearing the victory name.  the classic streamlined shape, tapered clip, gold cap bands, and deep gold filling blend together to give a pleasing, uncluttered appearance.  At 15.5 cm. when posted for use it is a long and elegant pen with a very solid, high quality feel.
