The Sheaffer Imperial was revived, in the 1990s, as the Sheaffer Triumph Imperial, this pen. A cartridge/converter filler, it was available in 'standard', all plastic form or this more up market metal capped version.
This is a very fine example, it is unused although I have inked it for testing purposes, sometimes new old stock pens don't write well. No such concerns here, it writes with a very smooth and consistent medium line. The section is stamped 'M' for medium but Sheaffer 'mediums' do tend to be a touch on the fine side compared to an English medium point.
The pen shows no signs of use or storage marks, it is pristine in every respect. It is fitted with the correct Sheaffer ink converter, the ink sac is unstained.
The brushed steel cap carries a polished stainless steel clip and the Sheaffer 'white Dot' mark of quality signifying a lifetime guarantee.
