The Wahl Eversharp Skyline pencil, produced in the mid forties, already had a decades long pedigree from the world's leading mechanical pencil manufacturer.
At 13.6 cm. in length it is a full sized pencil with a good, solid, and high quality feel. The 14 Ct. Gold filled cap is in excellent condition, no dings or scratches. The clip carries the Wahl Eversharp 'double tick' sign of quality and the Eversharp name engraved along it's length.
The mechanism is a click extend and manual retract design, it operates by depressing the heavily Gold filled button at the end of the cap.
At well over seventy years old this is a remarkable item in superb condition. It would make a really good and unusual vintage every day writer.
