Waterman 32A Fountain Pen

Regular price £95.00

The Waterman 32A fountain pen was produced in the late 1930s.  It is branded as a 'Waterman's Ideal' pen and is fitted with a 14Ct. Gold 'Ideal' nib.  It is the long version of the model.

A lever filler, the pen is finished in a most attractive and unusual 'brown swirl' pattern with red stripes.  The red stripe continues along the underside of the nib feed, this is also imprinted with the Waterman's name.  The pen has a clear amber ink window between the barrel and section.

The pen has been fully restored and is in first class working condition.  It has an excellent finish with a strong barrel imprint and Nickel plated trim.  The Waterman hard presentation case is in sound and clean condition.

The pen fills well and takes up a good volume of ink.  The Waterman Ideal nib has a medium point and delivers a smooth and consistent line with a small but pleasing amount of flex giving line variation.

At 158mm. posted for use the larger Waterman 32A, this version, is a very long and elegant pen.  It is not a common pen by any means and one in this colour and condition comes along very rarely.
