Conway Stewart 14 in Marbled Green.

Regular price £75.00

The Conway Stewart 14, introduced in 1952, was made in long and short versions.  This is the smaller pen of the two, although, at 12cm. capped and 15cm. posted it is still about average size for a 1950s pen.

Fully serviced and tested, the pen is in excellent working condition.  It is a most attractive pen with a deep shine with a clear barrel imprint.  The Gold filling to the clip and lever have held up very well.  The colour, described as 'marbled green with black veins', is bright and vibrant, showing no fading.

The lever filling system works well and the 14Ct. Gold nib has a small, but effective flex, adding character to the writing.  Someone with a decent 'hand' could produce impressive results.

The Conway Stewart 14 is one of the less common of the 1950s Conway pens and is not easy to find in this colour and condition.
