Conway Stewart 84
The Conway Stewart 84 is an English lever filling fountain pen, made between 1953 and about 1958. It is finished in classic black with Gold filled clip, cap stud, cap band and lever.
The pen has been fully restored and is in good working condition throughout. The ink sac was replaced as the old one had hardened with age. It was the original Conway Stewart sac, showing that this was the first restoration and that the pen has not been used for decades.
The pen has a deep shine, with a clear barrel imprint, the Gold filling to the clip, cap stud, and filling lever has held up particularly well. The lever has a lock down arrangement, the lever 'clicks' into place flush with the barrel.
The 14Ct. Gold nib is a vey good writer, producing a smooth, medium line with a small but effective amount of flex. Anyone with a decent 'hand' would enjoy using the pen to add character to the writing.
