The Conway Stewart 77 replaced the 100 model as the largest pen in the Conway Stewart range in the late 1950s, among the last of the top quality Conway pens.
The pen is in outstanding condition throughout, it has a showroom finish, a strong barrel imprint, and pristine Gold trim.
Fully serviced and tested, it fills well and the spectacular 14Ct. Gold Duro nib writes with a super smooth medium line. The Gold sheet used to make the Duro nib is substantially thicker than the standard nibs and has a firm action but also has a little 'bounce', contributing to a great writing experience.
At 16.5 cm. in length when posted, with proportionate girth, this is an extremely large and impressive pen with classic, understated good looks. Definitely a pen that makes a statement.
