Conway Stewart No.12 in Marbled Burgundy.

Regular price £95.00

The Conway Stewart No. 12 pens, introduced in the early 1950s, are characterised by beautiful marbled blue, green , or burgundy patterns laced with golden-brown streaks and patches, this is the burgundy version.

The pen has been fully serviced and tested, including a new ink sac, and is in first class working condition throughout.. It has an excellent finish with no fading and a clear barrel imprint.  The gold filling to the clip, lever and cap band is all good.

The original and correct Conway Stewart 14Ct. Gold No. 3N nib is straight and well aligned.  It produces a smooth line and has a small. but pleasing amount of flex.

The original box and guarantee are also in good order, for some reason the boxes were mae to look 'distresed' from new.

At 15.4 cm. in length, with the cap posted, the no. 14 is a long, slim and elegant pen.  This example is clearly of collectable condition but would also make an excellent vintage daily writer.
