The Parker Victory Mk.V. made it's debut in 1953 as Parker introduced the 'aerometric' filling system to all the U.K. Duofolds.
At the same time the Christian Olsen company in Denmark produced the Victory under licence from Parker. The barrel imprint is sharp and clear, it is stamped 'M.I.D. for 'Made in Denmark', along with a date code for 1955.
This pen is part of a recently acquired collection of Danish Parker pens, they are much less common than the British or American pens and are highly collectable.
Finished in classic black and golld, the pen has been serviced, tested and is in good woarking condition. A good sized, well balanced and handsome pen with a solid and well made feel. The surface is excellent, it has a showroom finish, a clear barrel imprint, and bright Gold filling. The 'pli-glass' ink sac has full is unstained.
The 14Ct. Gold Parker nib was made in Denmark, it is stamped with a 'D'. It writes with a fine to extra fine line, ideal for someone with small handwriting and for more detailed work or drawing.
At over six inches in length when posted for use this is a very long and elegant pen, it would make an eye-catching and reliable every day vintage writer.
