Introduced in 1979, the Parker 180 is immediately recognisable by the large, sharply pointed triangular nib and slim profile. This example, finished in a multi layered dark blue laquer, carries a date code for 1980.
The 180 is a slim pen and standard Parker converters won't fit so the inclusion of the original metal ink converter is an important issue with these pens. A Parker ink cartridge is supplied so the pen is ready to write in either configuration.
The nib has a broad point, not at all common on a 180. It delivers a smooth, broad line, well suited to someone with a large, bold hand.
