Parker 21 Super in Turquoise. Boxed and Immaculate.

Regular price

The Parker 21 Super, introduced in 1956, differs from earlier models in that it has a 'new style' clip that was adopted for the Parker 45 in 1960.  It also has an ink collector that acts as a second reservoir, as used in the Parker 51.

This pen is a most unusual colour, one that is not listed in the colour range for a '21',  it is strikingly attractive, best described as 'turquoise'.  This is the only example of a '21' that I've seen in this colour.

The pen has been fully serviced and tested, it is in excellent working condition.  The bodywork has a showroom finish and the 'Lustralloy' cap, complete with a '21' engraving is similarly pristine.

The almost cylindrical 'Octanium' nib writes with a very smooth fine line, ideally suited to someone with a small 'hand' or for detailed work.  The pen feels good in the hand and is a pleasure to use.

The Parker presentation box is in good, clean condition and is probably the original.

The Parker 21 super was a popular pen and sold in good numbers but it is extremely hard to find one in such outstanding condition, particularly in this very rare colour.
