Parker 45 Flighter De Luxe GT. 1984. Unused and Immaculate.

Regular price

The Parker 45, named after the Colt 45, was introduced in 1960. The 'Parker 45 de Luxe' version, this pen, was added to the range in 1962.  It is a testament to the sound, timeless design and functionality of the 45 that it remained, fundamentally unchanged, until 2008.  This pen carries a date code for the third quarter of 1984.

This pen is in totally mint, unused condition throughout. It is fitted with a slide type ink converter and has an unused cartridge so it is ready to write in either configuration.

The pen is presented in the original hard plastic box, which is in sound, clean condition, along with the Parker Flighter instruction leaflet.

The Parker 45 is very underated in many respects, not least in that it is a good quality,  pen with an excellent pedigree and a robustness that is hard to beat.  It is very difficult to find a perfect, mint example, such as this pen.

At around forty years of age it would serve for many more years as a practical, attractive, and trouble free vintage every day user.
