The Parker Duofold, in red hard rubber, was introduced in September 1921 and the Junior version shortly after.  This Parker Duofold Junior can be dated between 1923 and 1925.

The pen has been fully restored and is in excellent, fully working condition.  A button filler, it is finished in red with a black section, blind cap, and cap stud.  It has a first class surface, a legible 'Lucky Curve' banner imprint, and the Gold filling has held up remarkably well.  The Parker imprint and patent on the clip is particularly sharp.

The 14 Ct. Gold nib, supported by the original, and complete Lucky Curve feed writes very well.  It produces a smooth, firm, extra fine line, ideally suited to someone with a small 'hand' or for detailed work.  Extra fine, firm nibs were popular at the time for use with carbon paper, accounts, and annotations.

The early red and black Duofolds have gained iconic status in the true sense of the phrase.  At around a hundred years old this Duofold Junior is highly collectable and much sought after, it also works very well indeed!
