This Parker Duofold Junior was made, in England, in 1958. The 14 Ct Gold nib carries a clear date code for that year.
The pen has been fully serviced and tested. The aerometric squeeze bar, filling system is easy to use and works well. The 14 Ct. Gold nib is the correct No.10, it writes with a firm, fine line.
It is finished in Green with pristine Gold filling to the clip and decorated cap band. The clip is secured with a coulur coded end stud. Green is, by far, the least common of the four U.K. Duofold Aerometric colours.
The Parker Duofold Junior does not live up to its name in one respect: it is by no means a small pen. At over 6 inches in length when posted it is a very long and elegant pen with a very good balance and feel.
At the moment the Parker Duofold Junior is much underrated but that is sure to change, particularly for a pen in such fine condition. It is very difficult to identify a new pen with a Gold nib of this quality and 'breeding' at anywhere near the price!
