The Parker Latitude was introduced in 2005 and discontinued in 2008, a relatively short production run for a Parker. This all steel 'Flighter' version with 23Ct. gold plated trim and nib is dated for 2007.
At over 15 cm, in length when posted, it is quite a large pen with a very solid feel. The all steel construction, referred to as a Flighter' in Parker pens, is very robust, about as unbreakable as a fountain pen gets.
The pen is in excellent condition throughout with little, if any sign of use. The characteristic 23 Ct. gold plated clip and end plates are a very feature.
A cartridge/converter filler, the pen is fitted with the original Parker slide ink converter and is supplied with a new ink cartridge so it is ready to write in either configuration.
The pen is a great writer, the 23Ct. gold plated nib delivers a super smooth medium line, perhaps a little on the broad side.
The tough construction, excellent writing characteristics and convenient filling system make the Latitude Flighter a good choice as a daily writer.
