The Parker Latitude was introduced in 2005 as a replacement for the Parker Inflection. In December 2008 this pen , the Gold trimmed Garnet Red was added at the top of the line and the Latitude was discontinued less than a year later.
Constructed in stainless steel with multiple coats of matt lacquer, and a posted length of over 15Cm., it is a subsantial and attractive pen. The concentric circles around the cap, lines of latitude, are a distinctive feature. The nib and trim are 23 Ct. gold plated, the end plates on the cap and barrel are particularly striking.
This is one of a number of recently aquired new old stock pens, it has seen no use and is immaculate in all respects. It is supplied with a fitted ink converter and a new ink cartridge is provided sothe pen is ready to write in either configuration.
At £67 when new, incredibly equating to £116 in 2026, the Garnet Red GT Latitude was almost twice the price of the standard model. It had a very short production run and is now hard to find.
