The Parker Sonnet was introduced in 1994 to replace the Parker 75, this Sonnet Premier was the top of the line.
The pen is constructed in brass and finished with multiple layers of lacquer to give a deep lustrous shine in black. The trim is 23 Ct. Gold plated, and the pen has an 18Ct. Gold nib, only used on the Premier pens. It is in excellent condition throughout.
The nib is clearly stamped as 18K and 750, for 18Ct. Gold, along with the Parker name. The feed is multi finned and carries an 'M' for medium stamp. It writes with a wonderfully smooth line and has a very pleasing 'soft' feel.
The top end, French made Laque Sonnets, such as this example are great pens and are much sought after.
