The Parker Victory mk.V. made it's debut in 1953 as Parker introduced the 'aerometric' filling system to all the U.K. Duofolds. This pen was produced in 1954.
The Victory was made in four colours: red, green, blue, and black with green being, by far, the least common. Finished in green with Gold filled trim, this is a good sized, well balanced and hansdsome pen with a solid and well made feel.
The pen has been fully serviced and tested, the filling system works well and the correct 14Ct. Gold number 10 nib writes with a smooth medium line, perhaps a little on the fine side. The nib carries a clear date stamp for 1954.
The surface is excellent, it has a deep shine and a clear barrel imprint. The cap, which has a green end stud, is a smooth screw fit, tightening with one and a half turns.
At well over six inches in length when posted for use this is a very long and elegant pen, it would make an eyecatching and reliable vintage writer.
