Pelikan M150 Old Style. Immaculate New Old Stock. 1982-1990.

Regular price £85.00

Pelikan released the M150 in 1985 as a gold trimmed upgrade to the M100.  The earlier version, this pen, had the bevelled cap ring rather than the flat one and a 'derby' cap top rather than the later 'crowned' version.  It also has the 'W Germany' stamp on the cap ring.

This pen is a superb example of the Pelikan M150, it a new old stock pen and is in immaculate, unused condition.   As is often the case with new old stock pens, it came to me unboxed, the pens are generally matched with a box at the point of sale.  I have provided a new presentation case which will serve well for protection, transportation, and display.

The build quality and excellent piston filling system used by Pelikan since 1929 have established the brand as a world leader.  The very first pen, called simply the 'Pelikan fountain pen', became the 100 in 1931, it is remarably similar to this M150.

At 14.5 cm. posted for use it is a good sized pen with a very well balanced and high quality feel.  The earler Pelikans have a following with collectors and are not easy to come by in mint condition.
