Rolled Silver Cap Parker 51 Pencil. c.1952.

Regular price £75.00

The Parker 51 Pencil used from 1948 to 1957 was a repeater or continuous feed mechanism, as in this example.  The rolled silver cap has the early 'R.silver' imprint on this cap dates it to about 1952.

Finished in classic black with the rolled Silver cap, Gold filled clip, and pearl cap jewel, the pencil is in superb condition. The barrel has a showroom finish and the cap has no dings and a first class surface. The eraser, the only sign of use on the pencil, can be removed to access spare leads that are stored in the barrel.

As the pencil is in such outstanding condition I have provided a new, high quality box for transportation, protection and display.

The Parker 51 pen has a reputation as one of the best pens ever made, and the pencil has the quality to match.  The rolled Silver cap was only made in England and is the most sought after of all English caps.  A pencil in this condition is highly collectable but would aslo serve well as an attractive vintage daily writer.
