This Silver sliding telescopic dip pen has an engine turned decoration which is still sharp, the sliding mechanism is smooth and precise.
With a faded personalisation and a clear 'S Mordan & Co.' imprint the pen shows only light usage marks. It is fitted with a Joseoh Gillott fine flexible nib.
The pen is 9.1cm. long when closed, and 13.6 cm. cm. long fully extended.
Dating from around 1870, this item has seen some use, but the condition suggests that it was primarily a status item that was very well cared for.
