Summit S125

This Summit S125 was made by Langs, in England, around the late 1930s.  It is in outstanding condition throughout, a near mint vintage pen.

The chasing on the barrel and cap is sharp and clear as is the imprint identifying the pen as an English made Summit 125. The gold filling has also held up well over the last eighty odd years.

The pen has been fully restored and tested.  It takes up a good volume of ink and the 14 Ct. gold summit nib writes with a smooth medium line with a small but pleasing amount of flex.  At 16.3 cm. in length, when posted for use, it is an extremely long and elegant pen, very comfortable in use.

The Summit S125 is the archetypal English 1930s lever filling fountain pen.  It is not a common pen by any means and one in such superb condition is not at all easy to find.
