The Croxley Pencil

Regular price £35.00

The Croxley Pencil was made by the Dickinson stationary company, based at Croxley Green, in the mid 1940s.  The company ceased making pens and pencils in 1949.

The pencil is made from black celluloid rod stock so it is thick walled and solidly constructed.  This example has an excellent surface, with very clear and sharp imprints.  The Gold filling on the distinctive four chevron clip has held up very well.

At 12.7 cm. in length it is a good sized pencil with a high quality feel.  It has been serviced and is in good working order, operating by rotating the cap.
