This is a high quality telescopic dip pen and pencil combination in rolled gold. The pen has a slider mechanism to extend the nib and the pencil features a very smooth propelling action operated by turning the finial.
When fully collapsed it is 8.8 cm in length, growing to a most impressive 16.2 cm. when fully extended. It can also be used in the more compact 10.8 cm. configuration as shown in the photographs.
In excellent condition throughout, the pencil is extremely well engineered, the semi covered opening is a very unusual detail. A most tactile item, it is rare and very collectable.
