The Waterman W2 is an attractive and very reliable 'art deco' design pen. Finished in red/maroon with Gold filled trim, this pen is a very fine example.
There are no marks on the pen, it has a deep, lustrous shine with a strong barrel imprint and the Gold fill is in very good order.
The pen has been fully restored and tested. It fills well and the 14Ct. Gold left oblique W2A, broad nib is a superb writer, it would suit someone with a bold hand.
The W2 is a reliable and durable pen, it was much favoured by companies employing large numbers of office workers at a time when a fountain pen was an essential tool in the workplace.
