The Waterman Reflex, produced between 1995 and 1999 was available with a chrome or gold trim, this pen is a new old stock gold trimmed version.
The Reflex was made in solid and marbled colour schemes, with chrome or gold trim. This pen is a 'Psychedelic Pink' marbled version with a gold trim.
The pen is immaculate, as is the box, although someone, me, clumsily broke one of the tabs in the box.
The Reflex is a good sized pen with a distinctive shape. It features a long tapering barrel, hexagonal cap stud, and a huge spade shaped curved clip.
The pen is a cartridge/converter filler, a new ink cartridge is provided so the pen is ready to write. I have not inked the pen as it is in 'as new' condition, but I have used other Reflex pens and all have been excellent writers.
Despite their modest position in the Waterman hierachy when new, some of the Reflex pens, including this version, have become quite collectable of late.
